The summer of 2016 saw 16 high school juniors hosted as paid interns by homebuilder Lennar Homes and its trade contractors.
Those juniors were able to work on a homebuilding site getting their hands dirty and not only learn about but work on every phase of homebuilding - from foundation to finishing work.
Since then, the internship program has expanded to 3 homebuilders and a multitude of skilled trade contractors to provide internships to 200 high school juniors and graduating seniors in 2018!
