Job Description:
SunPower is searching for a Construction Quality and Efficiency Program Manager for our residential solar installation business. This individual will be responsible for executing key quality and efficiency projects, programs, and reporting. As a highly organized, data driven, and computer savvy project and program manager this person will have a significant impact on delivering our promise of leading quality and customer experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and executing key quality and efficiency initiatives and programs
- Organize 8D and 5 Why analysis as necessary
- Document best practices, processes, and procedures
- Author technical notices in partnership with Q&E Managers and Training Team
- Monitor Quality performance of new crews and install partners
- Monitor Quality Audits to ensure achievement of dynamic audit targets
- Develop and present Quality and Efficiency trainings (train the trainer) in partnership with Subject Matter Experts
- Identify areas of opportunity in realm of Quality and Efficiency
- Prepare quality reports and presentations
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of Project and Program Management experience
- Familiarity with residential solar installation processes and materials
- Proven experience identifying and implementing process improvement
- Interest in learning about residential battery systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong computer skills with advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to learn quickly, specifically on new industry and product changes
- Comfortable balancing competing priorities
- Motivated self-starter, willing to take initiative
- Keen eye for continuous improvement opportunities
- Capable of influencing others and developing strong cross functional relationships
- Ability to sit and perform computer work for long periods of time
- Must have a valid state driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
