Job Description:
Responsible for processing the subcontractor-certified payroll and plant payroll, preparation of new contracts for accounting and costing software. Processing project invoices and sub-payments support and assist in all areas of payroll, certified payroll, contract administration, and estimating departments.
Essential Duties:

- Having good attendance and being detail-oriented is an essential function of this position
- Process daily subcontractor-certified payroll and project information
- Maintain payroll, equipment, and job files in View Point, Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, and Equipment 360
- Process and produce weekly certified payroll files
- Prepare and process daily invoices and subcontractor sub-payments before Month-end deadlines
- Prepare and enter weekly certified payroll reports
- Prepare miscellaneous documents and reports as needed
- Prepare Monthly/Final Reports as needed for Federal/State Projects
- Prepare and provide documentation for Extra Work Reports
- Knowledgeable and able to assist in all areas within the department, including but not limited to Certified Payroll
- Scanning, Filing, and maintaining of all paperwork
- Attend seminars, meetings, and classes as requested to remain knowledgeable in all areas of responsibility
- Back up for all job costing engineer duties
- Back up for all construction, material, and ready-mix payroll clerk duties
- Reconcile job costing system and accounting system daily
- Create new jobs from estimating system into Heavy Job and Vista
- Input daily material receipts from plants and field
- Maintain and apply charge outs for towable and small tools
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum One year in an office environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and other software programs
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills and communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals
- Must be capable of functioning in a fast-paced, demanding working environment
