RAIL/REPAIR DEPARTMENT:
These openings will be working in production, rail/repair departments. The skills needed for both of these departments are similar. Candidates working in these departments will be installing the hinges, rail, and other accessory parts on the door before being wrapped and ready for shipping. They can also be working in the repair area, where they will be working to repair any scratches, dents on the doors. Candidates working in either one of those departments will be using the following tools: power tools, saws, tape measure. Candidates who have previous experience working in construction or carpentry trades are usually good fits. Number one thing that we are looking for is somebody with a good attitude and can work within a team setting. Manager is willing to interview candidates without experience but has the attitude and willingness to work in a team setting.
PRE-HUNG DEPARTMENT:
Looking for someone with power tools, hinges, molding.
First few weeks responsibility will be putting shipping labels on doors coming off lines, put hinges on, placing on pallets. The prehung department includes assembly work on an assembly line where they are dealing with volume. They will be doing some packaging as well. This position is less physical than prefit department. Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16th. Number one thing that we are looking for is somebody with a good attitude and can work within a team setting. Manager is willing to interview candidates without experience but has the attitude and willingness to work in a team setting. (example: Fast Food Industry)
8-10hr average/day up to 12 hrs occasionally. M- F with a few Sat’s a year.
HOLLOW METAL DEPARTMENT: 1
Hollow Metal welding department. In the past, we have had success with individuals that have previous auto body shop experience, so we’ll gladly consider anyone that you may have with that experience.
HM Welding position will start at 4:30 am M-F and work an 8 hr shift. OT is common for this department as they typically average 9-10 hrs with the occasional 12 hr shift.
