Job Description:
Villara is currently seeking a qualified Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. Under minimum supervision, the Inventory Control Specialist will assist with the implementation of quality control practices, material identification and bar coding, reports, and procedures as required to improve security and tracking of inventory.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of daily cycle counts
- Coordinate physical inventories as required by company policy
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies found in cycle counts
- Identify and report receipts, bill of material, and shipping errors
- Generate inventory reports as needed for inventory turn analysis
- Act as liaison between warehousing and purchasing to resolve material issues
- Perform inventory audits as directed by management
- Work to improve inventory accuracy and processes with other team members
- Perform inventory data entry and analysis as needed
- Maintain the integrity of the inventory database
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to transfer between warehouse and office environment
- One year in inventory control and warehouse experience
- Previous knowledge of HVAC materials and shop made items is an advantage
- Ability to work in a dynamic, pressured, and ever changing environment
- One year experience of Forklift both stand up and sit down
- Flexible, reliable, highly self-motivated and good team player (a must)
- Data entry and Excel a plus
- Valid Driver License and insurable driving record
- Ability to multi-task
