Field Manager

Job Description

SonRay Door and Trim is looking for a Field Manager for its Sacramento operations. We are a growing company that is seeking quality people looking for a team oriented and challenging environment. The duties include:

- Shop Drawings - Materials ordering, and fulfillment

- Responsible for getting materials ordered in a timely manner

- Manage logistics of materials in and out of warehouse and to project job site

- Day to day follow up and communication with customers

- Relationship building and management of customers- Excellent communication - Follow through

Functions of the Job:

- Working knowledge doors and trim a plus but not needed

- Problem solving - Work with project superintendent to manage project schedule

- Manage billing to client

- Facilitate project communication including delivery logs, submittals, change orders, RFI, memorandums, and project revisions

- Meet with clients to review and explain project costs, extras and change orders

QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Two years experience in estimating, Project Management, or related field work a plus but not needed

- College degree is desirable

- Knowledge of scheduling, job site realities, and logistics a plus but not needed

- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- General knowledge of material (Doors, frames and Hardware) and labor costs bit not needed

- Ability to read and understand Plans and Specifications preferred

- Ability to work independently as a key component in a Team oriented atmosphere and manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines

- Able to manage multiple Projects simultaneously with tight deadlines

- Ability to analyze and solve problems

- Ability to prioritize job responsibilities
