Overview

Overview: Reports to VP of  Finance creating and maintaining Escrow/Closings policy and procedures, motivate staff and vendors to achieve Escrow/Closing goals, and oversee relationships with lenders and title company.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creates Escrow/Closings policy and procedures and ensures sales staff receives training and works within guidelines.
  • Analyzes business plan and projects number of homes to close per month.
  • Resolves issues with lenders in order to further Escrows/Closings.
  • Reviews all accepted contracts and final closings pre-audit and signs all lender documents to procure closing.
  • Oversees Escrow/Closings department and manages backlog/escrow calls.
  • Stays current with industry financing trends, new Loan Programs and Loan Investor guidelines

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of college coursework preferred
  • Five (5) years of progressive responsibility in escrow/closing coordination, with builder and title company experience and two years mortgage experience preferred.
  • CA Real Estate License preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent management, organization and negotiation skills.
  • Computer skills.
