Air International Thermal Systems (AITS)
https://www.ai-thermal.com in Auburn has recently been awarded two new contracts, and is currently hiring for assembly line work. No experience is needed, with all training paid.
Pay is $15/hr, with as much overtime as you want. In fact, currently we are running two shifts: 1st shift works 6am to 4:30pm while 2nd shift works 5pm to 3:30am… so you must be able to work 10 hour days (with a 30 minute lunch break). In addition, currently each shift works alternating 8 hour Saturdays resulting in roughly 28 hours of overtime (at $22.50/hr) each paycheck (paid every-other-week). Additional double-time work on Sundays is available, paid at $30/hr.
However, a third shift just opened, and each shift will soon reduce to 8 hours: 1st shift working 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift working 2pm to 10:30pm, and the nascent 3rd shift working 10pm to 6:30am. These hours will only be minimums required; requests for coming in early or staying late will be granted -up to a 12 hour work-day maximum- with Saturday (1.5x pay) and Sunday (2x pay) hours available.
Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision, with 120 hours of PTO (Paid Time Off) yearly commencing after a three month probationary period. Often, there is also a BBQ or Potluck for Saturday shifts.
Work is easy, but the hours can be long... and you *need* to be reliable. Perfect attendance of scheduled shifts for any given month is rewarded with an additional $100, currently in effect until December 31st, 2020.
Job is assembly line work building EV (Electric Vehicle) HVAC systems, up near the Auburn Airport (
12745 Earhart Ave Auburn, CA 95602). Currently, generally 10 hour days, 5 days a week... with (currently) mandatory 8 hour Saturdays every other week, as mentioned. Generally, you will take home $1,250 to $1,500 every-other-week after taxes… resulting in a minimum of $2,500 to $3k a month take-home.
The company *does* drug test; however, marijuana is treated much as alcohol: not a concern, as long as you are not under the influence at work.
The number of slots is obviously limited, with a first-come, first-hired basis. Interviews will be scheduled generally from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.
