Job Description

Responsible for field and vendor schedule adherence and all scheduling tasks of the division in support for the resource planning activities.



Responsibilities

  • Expedite and prioritize resource schedules and maintain schedule templates for the division
  • Provide real time support to the field for re-schedules
  • Monitor schedules and communicate delays while working with trade partners to resolve scheduling issues
  • Monitor BuildPro/SupplyPro usage and take proactive measures to ensure division wide compliance
  • Support, trouble shoot, and maintain BuildPro/SupplyPro systems
  • Assist Permits Coordinator with all BuildPro/SupplyPro document entry and SOP’s
  • Participate with the RPM in all defect/recordable tracking and scheduling of trade partner process improvement plan meetings
  • Perform field audits to ensure scheduling process is working and quality is being delivered
  • Work with trade partners to verify the trades capacity and ensure trade is not overbooked to ensure no bottlenecks and missed tasks
  • Daily communication with TP’s, CM’s, RPM, DOC, along with Associates and other outside entities. External contacts where the matters discussed require some resourcefulness, patience and clarity
  • Perform all other duties as assigned



Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.  Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction industry
  • Preferred to have had experience as a construction manager or equivalent job
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
  • Valid Auto insurance coverage
  • Advanced PC skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and JD Edwards
  • Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
  • Able to simultaneously perform multiple detail-oriented tasks with little oversight
  • Must have a good understanding of the construction process and how the scheduled tasks interact with each other

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone equipment.
