We are hiring for a Driver for our Sacramento, CA location. A Driver is responsible for delivering electrical materials to various customer job sites and facilities. This includes creating a daily delivery route based on orders received, verifying material on the truck before delivery and working with the dispatch manager for any changes in the route. A Driver should understand all requirements for delivering materials and provide a professional and positive attitude at all delivery sights. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:   Assists Dispatch Supervisor in ensuring trucks are ready for deliveries, loaded and routed Communicates with drivers on cell phone for correct location and any problems that may occur on route. Works with all salesmen and customers on deliveries and problems in absence of Dispatch Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring the Pipe and Christy yard is stocked and cleaned. Backup Driver Backup for Dispatch supervisor Assist in Receiving and Will Call departments. Essential Duties:   Reviews ticket for wire cuts to ensure the wire can be cut from a specific location.  Using a Wemco machine, measures wire cuts to the proper length.   Staging orders in correct location Assist in stock management, break down reels and pallets Stocks material in designated locations using the RF gun. Prepare wire product for delivery to customer, assist with will-calls Responsibilities:   Forklift operator: drives forklift to put wire in proper location. Occasionally deliver wire to the front counter, transfer area or dispatch.

Essential Duties:   Down stocking: replenishing stock using RF gun to move material from inventory to primary location for order fillers. Stocking material from receiving department. Receiving: unload material from delivery trucks, count material and refer to the bill of lading for correct quantity. Use RF gun to scan material into inventory, date stamp, initial and file order for management’s review. Forklift operator: drives forklift to unload material from delivery trucks. Also, stock and loading of pallet racking. Daily uses RF gun to check for material from prior day that needs to be put back into inventory. As needed, reviews tickets for wire cuts to ensure the wire can be cut from a specific location. A Warehouse employee is responsible for insuring stock on shelves are replenished and to stock material when received.  This includes unloading material from delivery trucks and place into stock using RF gun system plus cutting wire as specified from customer orders.
